Do all 1g's have an EGR?

Do all 1g cars have an egr system or just california cars?

Just asking because i have a federal ecu and im trying to pass smog in california and my car has an egr system.

They all have EGR systems, however, the Cali spec DSM's have an actual solenoid to control the EGR valve instead of just engine vacuum and a thermal valve on the t-stat housing.

It's required by law. Only cars that get away with it are pre 70ish.
