My 92 GSX will finally be coming down out of the stratosphere in a few weeks using Eibach Sportline springs and KBY AGX struts all around. I will be using some sort of camber adjustment for the rear, I'd just like some opinions on which route to take.

(1) Eccentric camber adjustment bushing from DME. $65 from them, cheaper on eBay.

I'm leery of this, however, because this appears to be their ONLY product, and they don't list the camber adjustment range, though using the stock camber adjustment bolts it should be the same RANGE as stock, just starting at a different point.

(2) Adjustable camber arms from Ingalls. Somewhere around $190 shipped.

This is the preferred way to go as far as I'm concerned, but if anyone has had good results with the dme kit, I'll definitely be down with saving some scratch.

thanks.

of course mine is a 2g, but...i have ingalls on mine (bought them when ingalls was about the only one making camber kits for the eclipse) and they work great. looking at the 2 i would say if i owned a 1g i would still buy the ingalls kit.

Thanks for the input. It seems to me that the ingalls kit may allow for more accurate camber adjustment, but I was basically just looking for anyone who's tried the DME kit to see if there's really an appreciable difference. Seems like the ingalls kit would be better for someone who tracks their car and changes ride height on a regular basis.

Hmmmm, my TSI needs a rear camber kit and if the insert works, I might jump all over that, but part of me wants to do it right with the Ingalls kit. I've noticed there aren't a lot of kits out there for 1g rear's.

I would be inclined to go with the Ingalls one.

It look like it is easier to adjust.....especially over the course of time....if you put antiseize on the adjustment threads when you install the arms.

My 1G seems to have some negative camber in the rear and its not even lowered. I might get a set.

Ingalls on Ebay for $140-149 :shhh:

I have the older version of the Ingalls arms and they are great. They are lighter, stronger, better looking, and alot more adjustable than anyother option. They are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

The main reason I went with them is becasue I didnt want to buy a set of bushing then have the alignment shop tell me they can only do so much. Then I would have to buy these arms, install them and do it again.

Do it right, do it once.

I know this thread is from the dinosaur era but ive been trying to order the camber kit from DME and I cant get in, is their website down? Are they still in business?

If they aren't around any more Whiteline makes a nice piece for adjusting rear camber. It's technically for a GVR4 but it works for a 1G.

You could also make your own adjustable arms similar to the Ingalls for around $100.

Whats the website for this?

If anyone wants to know you can get the same DME camber kit at extremepsi, its 20 bucks more expensive than at DME but its worth it.
