Diy intake pipe?

Any body have the link to build your own? Went to RRE and could find it anymore. I know you cut the stock one but what size pipe is needed and where to cut.

Ive read that one. I guess what im asking is there was one write up where the guy gave the exact length of pipe needed and where to cut. think it was like 6'' or something.
