Ok wanting to buy a fmic so I can make my own 3 inch piping. What core should I use. I was thinking the obx of ebay for 250 but Ive been told the quality sucks. I have a buddy who can get me a 24x13x3.5 spearco core for a little more than that. I want to go with the spearco but do you guys have any suggestions or recomendations.

does the spearco come with endcaps, because if it doesnt you have to buy those, and weld them on either yourself, or pay someone to weld them on, and that can get pricy,... id suggest a spearco, but not if it doesnt have endcaps...

I'd suggest spearco too. OBX, however, is starting to turn around and build a reputation for themselves. IMO they still seem a little shady, and I know they've have problems with quality in the past, but I've heard their newer products are built better.

i got the mishimoto on ebay- 200.00, had a local muffler shop bend 2.5" pipes -100.00, got couplers from homedepot, 40.00, dont recommend the hd couplere, mine are crap so i ordered real ones. if you got the t25 then have fun, i had to section a piece of 180 bend 2.0" bout 10 times and weld it to fit between the fans and header to point jpipe toward the driver side. over all its works good, no psi drop, no lag, good cool air, all for 340.00.
