Ok, so when i got my FMIC, i made my own piping, but i was fussy and went short route, around the radiator, with side to side end tanks. SO basically i have some of the craziest bends imaginable for IC piping, and with all the welds, i feer that i have a leak, or many leaks for that matter

My question is, how do you fit 2.5" piping, or 2.25" piping around on the driver side, because with the alternator, and the cross member in the way, it just doesnt seem possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :thumb:

This question keeps popping up weekly it seems.

You really should center and mount the intercooler, then look to see how it goes. It can only go so many ways (one maybe two on that side). I'm not trying to be a dick, but once the bumper is off, it will be clear as day.

Can you give pictures of the design of your fmic? Which ways are the inlet/outlet facing?

i've had the bumper off and already made short route piping, but there are just too many welds and it leaks, plus i just dont like the look of it. My inlet and outlet are on either side of the IC, facing out the side, dead center.

yea, i used jb weld and then sanded it a lil, and painted. couldnt even tell and worked great. Short route piping is very easy to fit 2.5"....
