Ran into another problem LOL I don't think this car likes me. :banghead:

I'm having a problem getting into first gear, I've bleed the system a couple different times, checked to see if there was any fluid around the boot, there is none. The slave cyl. looks to be doing what it needs to, I took a video, I'll post up in the morning of it in action.

This is only when the car is running, 1st gear grinds, I can start off in 3rd or 4th, but 5th is somewhere hiding and reverse turned into 4th...

With the car started in neutral and me pushing it toward first gear, it seems like it should drop into gear but it doesn't, it just grinds. I noticed the car moves when i push it toward 1st, since it doesn't wanna let me in it.

Car off, i can put it in any gear i'd like but that isn't gonna get me anyway.

I found the rod under the dash, I have plans on messing with it tomorrow, as well as checking the master cyl for leaks and checking the cables under the shifter boot.

I haven't checked fluids yet, which i'm sure not to sure how to do on these but hopefully someone will tell me. Any advise would help, thanks for your time, I'll be back in the morning.

Could be air in the lines. Place a small vacume line on the clutch bleeder screw head and run it in a small clear bottle of brake fluid and bleed it that way and see if any bubbles come out. If that don't work its your clutch system.

sounds like your clutch isnt going all the way in. dont force it youll break a shifter fork.

Yea Im not into breaking shit i have to fix LOL

I've been trying to get to an auto parts store so i could get a bleeder, just to make sure there won't be any air in it.

This happened to me last month, turned out to ne a bad master cylinder

I'll check the master cyl, see if i can find any leaks.

I still haven't started messing with the car yet, I'll update you guys when i find something out.

[Update]

Check the linkage, it seems to be ok. Checked to see if i could push the fork, that worked out. There's no real movement to the fork, tried side to side and back in forth.

adjusted the rod, under the dash and it got a little better. I can get into first gear now.

Not sure on the sound of it tho
