No Boost in 1st Gear

First off, I have a 94 tsi awd with a 6bolt swap. Stock except for a 3in downpipe and exhaust, no cat. Has a hacked air can with K&N, Mas has the plug removed and no silencer, but both honeycombs are intact and in great shape. The factory boost solenoid has also been modified to raise boost levels. Now, the car has sat for about two months, and when I went home this weekend from school, I started the car. The idle was really shakey. It sputters a little, but after i drove it the idle settled down. Once the idle was better i took the car out again. Started to accelerate in 1st, and the car would not build boost(Autometer boost gauge), shift to 2nd and boost would build to 10psi, same in 3rd and 4th. This really has me dumbfounded. I really don't even know where to start, any help would be greatly appreciated.:talon:
 
I don't know exactly what fixed it but I have boost now. PVC was leaking pressure into head so I replaced installed a check valve. Then the EGR blockoff plate was leaking tightened the bolts. A member sent me Octane/timing table. Removed EBC. I just ordered Kinugawa WG bc mine is not fully opening the flapper and it also opens with less than 5psi.

I also regapped plugs from .28 to .26

Glad to see ya got it fixed . What kind of boost you getting in first gear now ?

I haven't stayed on it too long in first, about 5k and it hits 12psi which feels really nice. But I have boost creap. WG is opening less the 5psi and it's not fully opening the flapper. I just ordered kinuwaga wastegate w 17.5 spring. Once I get boost under control I'll start tuning. 20psi sounds good for now. I want to install ARP studs and replace hg gasket.
