No boost in 1st Gear

When my car is at idle it sits in vacuum like normal, when i hit the gas in first the gauge won't go above 0 and I usually shift out of first at 3500-4000 rpm. When i shift to second and and the rest of the gears the boost hits normal levels???what could cause this?

This is normal, take it up to redline and you'll see some boost (WOT) but it will still not be as much as the remaining gears.
