Since I bought my most recent DSM I have had an issue with fuel cut and breaking up in the higher rpms. I tried everythin to fix this and was at the point onlosing my mind until I finally came across a thread, after pages and pages of searching, where the OP was having the same issues. Replaced all possible elements Whig would cause fuel cut and had support mods for the boost desired. Hisnlast resort was to check the MAF which fixed his problem.

After reading this little Nugget of information I immediately went out to my car and checked the MAF. Not once did it cross my mind that incould be my problem but sure enough the wire and honeycombs were covered in what looked to be carbon buildup. Cleaned it up and te car ran like a new car. No fuel cut, no stumblig idle and no power loss as I was experiencing before.

There should be a sticky to help some diagnose there fuel cut and a dirty or bad MAF should be on the list of reasons why. I searched for 3 days trying to find the information was looking for.
