So I had a 6bolt 4G63 from and Galant VR4 swapped into my car after the old one blew, and I just recently found out (car has been in a garage for a while) that (from what I was told by the garage) that the transmission uses some sort of mechanical speed sensor, while my speedometer uses an electrical sensor. Problem is right now is that the garage (not an aftermarket garage btw, just a family friends that was fixing some electrical issues) says they can't hook it up, therefore I currently don't have a working speedometer. Can anyone help me with this? Or would I have to go back to the original 2G tranny? Thanks in advanced.
