My t-case is screwed on my 92 eagle talon tsi and my car is an automatic. I've already done a search and it seems that some people think that the autos and manuals share the same transfer cases and some don't. Does anyone know for sure? I need one quickly and don't want to end up buying the wrong one. I do know for sure that it's a 23 spline.

Nevermind, it's going to get fixed under recall. They are different according to the Dealer.

The housing are in fact different, however the interals are the same, soooo you could swap internals back and forth and i know an auto Tcase will bolt onto a manual tranny, except one bolt hole doesnt line up (sort of a last resort thing for a manual guy with broken tcase/housing)
