ive searched, but no real clear explination..

doess hp require different plumbing, fpr, ect?

one better for mild modding vs advanced mods?

so if you were going to run an aftermarket fpr go with the hp? for ex. the Aeromotive A1000?

thanks for the info guys!

i think im goin to play it safe and go with the hp. i just didnt know if the hp was goin to be ok regardless of what other mods were done(and the extra info helps too)..

Just go with the HP, think their usually the same price (if not the difference is minimal), they both should be run with an aftermarket FPR but the HP will take you abit further if you descide to run big boost down the road.

For the turbo, never heard of that one (though not up on them all) but sounds like it may be a "knock off" turbo? If so, my advise is still to a legit name brand.

I have been running a non HP and i have been at 80psi fuel pressure at max boost with no problems

made 410hp 460tq on a dynojet

HP is overrated for most. But if i was in the business for a new pump i would probably pick up HP if they were the same price.

Like it's already been said. The HP unit will move more fuel at higher pressures then the standard one. The HP is also going to be a little louder. I love my 255 HP and the way it sounds I know I'll never need to upgrade it. An AFPR is also recommended with a pump this big.

given the fact that there is a slight advantage tot the hp, and the prices are generally very similiar, i would just go ahead for the one with more potential, even if you may never max it out

Many people do require more fuel than the 255 can supply, and run tandem pumps.

To reiterate what Hubbard said; The 255 will overrun the turbo-car's stock FPR - If you don't already have an AFPR, you should purchase one with the 255. The 190, on the other hand, is OK to run on the factory FPR.

UM, you can't go off the damn sound of the pump.

Anywho i proved that a reg. pump is enough for most esp. if you are only using pump or even race gas aka not E85 like me.

Also I am selling mine.

Good luck to you on the pump choices another one is Ford GT pump 310lph.

I think my 255 might be going out...if I purchase the HP will that change my tune that I currently have via dsmlink?
....I have an afpr

You shouldnt have to change a thing. The only real difference is that the HP will flow more at a higher pressure.

my friend has an hp and he put down 500 to all wheels on race gas on a dynojet

cool story
