difference between coil packs

i have a 6 bolt in my gst that i did not put in myself. how can i tell if it have a 1g or 2g coil packs? does the 6bolts require a 1g coil pack? just asking so i know what plug wires to get. thanks!

what wires to get depends on were you mouth the coil pack.

the packs are the same with differant brackets.

The 1g coil pack mounts with the plug socket facing the drivers side of the engine bay. The 2g mounts with them facing the head. Both in the same area just facing diff. directions.

The best bet is if your coil pack faces forward get the 2g (a bit longer I believe) and if it faces to the right get the 1g.
