Alright so Im looking around for a boost gauge for my car, and every place I look at theres like 5 different kinds of boost gauges? They prices can range from like 70 to 250? The only difference I can tell between them all is the maximum amount of boost the can measure. Now does it matter if I get a guage that starts at 0 like this?

Or will I need one like this?

Oh and also I cant really find a great gauge site, I am currently looking at www.Egauges.com If anyone else has any other suggestions that would be great too. :rocks:

Alright Thanks a lot-

I suggest the Boost/Vac gauge (the bottom one). Once you learn to "read" the vacuum levels you can tell when something's not quite right with the engine. For instance, if I notice my vacuum level is higher than normal, it almost always means a vacuum leak somewhere (hose popped off or something like that).

egauges isn't bad-- they're one of the few places offering the Isspro gauges, which is what I have. I'm very satisfied with them. Defi ones are also very nice, and also consider the Stewart-Warner brand (not available from egauges, however). Whichever one you choose, though, make sure it goes higher than 20. You'll eventually be boosting more than that. :rocks:

I bought mine from extremepsi.com they have some nice guages. I bought the boost one with the VAC as well, EGT which shows temp, and the air/fuel ratio guage. All of them are phantom and im happy with'em.
