Ok nearly every morning when I go out to start up my car (Only happens if I haven't run it in a while).

But okay here is the scenario.

I get into my car (usually only in the mornings) go to start it and it bogs down and dies almost immediately but if I turn the key over the second time it starts up strong and powerful like it should.

So the engine obviously is getting spark because it turns over and starts up which then maybe leads me to think it is something with my fuel pump? Because when it starts up it just shudders a bit and dies the initial time I turn the key over. However, every single time on the second try it starts up and runs fine. Any suggestions on some trouble shooting?

I tried to use the search function, but could not find one that recreates my exact problem.

(I am no newb, I have been a mod at other forums).

The engine is a 4g63 that's been rebuilt 38,000k ago, it was rebuilt by Mechanic who I had purchased the car from about 6 months ago.

Sounds to me like your pump is bleeding down pressure. Put a fuel gauge on it overnight and check the psi in the a.m. See if you're getting pressure drop.
