Alright so I could really use some help here if anyone has any ideas. So im drivin my car normally not hard but not easy either, pull up to a red light and then when I get ready to take off again I push the clutch in and let out as usual only this time it starts stalling and hopping as though im not in the correct gear. Problem is I was of course in first and its hopping so bad I can even get it home tonight I had to park it. It is completely undrivable and happened so suddenly that im clueless to what the problem could be. Car idles and revs fine and the clutch pedal feels normal and the few times I could shift it felt to be shifting normally, it just wont run it was stalling so badly that it went dead multiple times. i have a southbend stage 3 clutch and the car is mostly stock. any ideas??????:(

From what you said it sounds like your not having difficulties shifting or getting into gear so I don't think it's clutch or transmission related.

First thing that comes to mind is an airflow issue if your car is stalling and bogging. Take a quick look under the hood and see if anything came off (MAS, sensors, etc) and also do a boost leak test.

You think so? The only reason I didnt is because it happened so suddenly and on top of that it idles and revs fine. If it was an electrical issue it wouldnt even idle fine would it?

Sounds like you may have blown a coupler or something. I did that in my gst. Forgot to tighten the UICP - TB Elbow o clamps down good. Blew it off and was stuttering and bucking like crazy.

Well I did attempt to install an ebay front mount last weekend, quality was fine but it just refused to fit up. If the coupler was blown would it still idle and rev fine?

Not always if the coupler is blown because its just a big air leak. The air that should be forced towards your throttle body is now being pushed out somewhere. I just had a similar issue minus the bucking and hesitation and my car is bone stock. I'm hoping for some more ideas from this post

Fixed it! Turns out the MAS wasnt plugged in all the way somehow it came undone on one side and was only getting partial connection. Only reason I couldnt tell is because it was dark and my check engine light stays on because of that damn p1105 error code that I cant seem to get rid of. If you having similar issues maybe try cleaning your MAS and checking your connection. Also could try getting some connection cleaner and spraying the contact points of the connector/connection with it.

Hah, I told you! ;) I'm glad you got it sorted out.

Also, thank you for coming back and updating the thread with what the problem was, it might help someone out in the future. :)
