did my friend get screwed?

A friend of mine showed me some parts that he bought, he told me that they were for a 1g 6 bolt stroker motor. i looked at them and they looked stock to me, so i compared them to my 1g stock rods and pistion and they looked the same here some pic. the other thing he told me is that he bought a 16g turbo and it look like a t25 turbo. he contact the guy that sold him the stuff and the guy said that the pistion are bored .50 over and the turbo has 16g internals in it any help would be great thanks

If the motor is in good running condition than thats not a bad price but the fact that he was lied too is not cool....

The pistons are not "50 over". They are .020" over (85.5 mm or .5 mm over stock). You have stock 2.0 pistons on stock 2.0 rods (5.900 length). The only thing they will fit is a 2.0 block with a 2.0 (88mm) crank.

The turbo is a t25.

If the guy said T28, maybe, but I don't think you can swap parts into a T25 housing from a 16g??

Turboeclipse99 remember that a original 16g should say TD05H on the housing unless u get an ebay knockoff. but 600 for all the stuff is not bad even though it was not the truth.

Turbo looks to be a t25. Check it for a fp logo.
