a few days ago I took of my timing belt cover and found my balance shaft belt was broken. could this explain the skreeching sound when I reved her up? my gasket seemed fine, I knew I should have done a more thorough investigation! water was coming out of my tail pipe but it was cold out side so I rev her up and herd a terrible skreech and asumed head gasket. any thoughts? :confused:
