That really sucks man. The car was so clean and well put together. It just looked nice. I hope you are able to get back up and running soon...

I here all this e-thuggery...
I doubt any of you would do what you said you'd do. Under the assumption that it wasn't intentional you'd only look like a fool, end up getting your ass beat or worse. Its racing. At any point in time you could have a suspension/tire malfunction that would send you side ways into a wall or another lane/car. This is just a risk of the sport.
But even though I have never heard of said car before, it looks well put together. Sucks to see it gone but the most important part of the car survived so that is what's important. Stick all that stuff into a lighter 1g shell and go faster.
Actually i would do something. I dont talk shit. I kicked a kids ass for running into the back of my BMW (no big damage just a nice scratch). So i think if this much damage happened i would probably beat that guy close to death.
.Guys, this is what happens at the track. It is part of racing and something that you should always consider when you run.
Devin, this really sucks. I absolutely love that car

I wait for the day a tough guy like you who can't control his child like anger tries some stupid crap like that. The one thing I do like about Texas is the right to carry a concealed weapon.
Get your ANGRIES out
Sorry to hear about the car, I gasped when I saw the video! I hope we can see it all swapped into a new car shortly...
I'm with Red Alert on this.
^^^ He speaks the truth. I'm not sure what area you live in but with your mentality you wont make it very far anywhere else. If I saw you hop out of your car and start whaling on a kid for an accident he couldn't have prevented like in the video I'd personally come over and bash your head in for being a complete idiot.
If it is on purpose that is one thing, but when there is nothing to prevent it then its stupid. This video could have happened the other way around, then what? T case explodes and all of a sudden red DSM in the side of the Dodge. Now what? Still wanna fight?
Such stupid reasoning. People goto the track to avoid the pedestrian/traffic aspect of racing, the rest of the dangers remain. Nothing about the track is more safe, it is probably more dangerous. A lot more powerful cars and the like. The only difference is the typical person at a track tends to be a better driver or more in tune with the condition of their car.

I agree as well. I'm sure the guy that hit him wasn't happy about it either
The worst part is, the guy didnt even say he was sorry. He told my fiance to get f***ed. Hes exact words were, "How do you think I feel, my car is a classic and you can find one of those anywhere"
So needless to say he will not be helping me. I beleive that any insurance company will not cover anything at a dragstrip. Am I wrong?

I took this quote from the local forum

Actually no. We go to the track in order to avoid this type of thing, ie "street racing". This happens a hell of a lot more on the street vs on the track. So I have no idea what you mean by that statement.
Sucks about your car, your lucky it wasn't near all the expensive parts. Why isn't there a wall in the middle anyway???
