What are some unique characteristics of the t-25 or 14b Turbo. Trying to figure which I have, so I can order a FMIC.
Thanks.
Thanks.

, yes that looks to be a 6-bolt. Good thing people just say things on this site. You can search this site to identify if it is a true 6-bolt. Oil pan, like you said, is the place to look. You have a 14b turbo it looks like. By the time you get the parts on and do the required maintenance, that thing should pull like a champion. Good luck with your build sir. from the pics you posted previously it looked like there was no cas (### there wasnt) this is what i based the thought that it was a seven bolt on. since this is not the case and it is a 6bolt, you are going to have problems with the 2g intake manifold. the ports are not the same as the 6 bolt head and this results in a huge vaccuum leak. i am guessing this engine was never started in this condition. good luck

How do you know the intake mani isn't a 1g? Don't a lot of 1g guys upgrade to a 2g Throttle Body? I think your just basing all your statements off the pics. Just guessing is what your doing. Not a good way to get rep. If there "is" a leak, it can easily be found with a BOOST LEAK TEST. That is much later down the road. Right now, he is just trying to get the car running.
okay i know this is an old thread but i just installed what i thought was a 14b and now im not sure. the engraved numbers are 40 and thats not on the list on the first page
