Determining Turbo

What are some unique characteristics of the t-25 or 14b Turbo. Trying to figure which I have, so I can order a FMIC.

Does it say Tdo5 on the side of it?

The t25 is the stock 2g turbo. It really isn't that good. The 14b is the stock 1g 5spd turbo. The 13g is the stock 1g auto turbo. I'd search to find specific flow charts, but the 14b is a good small upgrade for a 2g.

What mods are done to your car and I'd be glad to tell you what you need.

I haven't completed any mods yet, I just a bought a 6-bolt swap "basket case" Project.

I'm just trying to figure out what turbo I have. I believe I have the 6-bolt swap with 2nd Intake and Exhaust manifolds, but I'm not certain. Hence why I'm asking for help on determining which turbo.

If it says TD05H, it's a 14B, but with that being said, check the compressor fins. If there's alot (well more then a few), it's a Small 16G.

what are the numbers stamped on the lower portion tab, it should read- (49176-01XX0) tell us the numbers stamped were the ''xx'' is and we might be able to tell you

TD05H does ''not'' mean its a 14b, tdo5h refers to the compressor housing.

it was a googled image, just to show were to look for the numbers i want to determine what turbo he has.

From forced performance's website. Its an Evo3 Big 16g with the "TD05H" on it. I'd say it could easily be a 14b or E316g.

also i hate to break it to you gmddsm but the engine you have is not a six bolt. it is seven bolt all the way. hope that doesnt break your spirits. at least you have a 14b....

Really? What would be the easiest way to tell on my end? I read somewhere about the oil pan?

It also looks like there is a harness clip for the cps by the timing belt.

that is probably the a/c compresor harness
