Just got done installing some denso 660cc injectors, but now the injector clips/plugs have no room to connect to the injector. Do I need to modify something to get them hooked up?

You may have gotten Denso's with EV6 plugs on them. There 2 styles of plug for fuel injectors (EV1 and EV6). I had the same problem with a set of Rochester injectors once. Not saying that this is your problem just putting it out there.

Caspers Electronics Fuel Injector Adapters: CEI-109076 - summitracing.com <-- (click for pic's) The connector on the left is an EV1 (common DSM) and on the right EV6 (common GM).

Can you take a pic of your setup? Maybe I'm way off and your just missing the plastic spacers that go on the fuel rail.

I don't think that is it. The plug DOES hook up perfectly to the injector as I tested one before installing them, but what I am talking about is that I now have the injectors between the rail and the head and installed, but there is no room for the plugs to be put on the injector because that clip is too bulky for the densos I guess.

You have to do some grinding on the fuel rail to clearance for the injectors. Road Race Engineering should have a FAQ for this. I did it so long ago I completely forgot about it.

ok thanks. LOL well I just managed to get the plugs installed, but would like someone to tell me if this is safe. I backed out the fuel rail just enough to lift it to where I was able to put the plugs/clips onto the injectors, and then retightened the fuel rail back down. Of course I can't remove the plugs unless I undo the rail bolts, but they seem to be connected and the rail is still where it needs to be.
