I was wondering what everyone thought of these injectors. I know they are cosmetically chipping(black paint) but does anyone see anything else on them that would hinder the flow/work load of these.

They are Denso 660's. I bought them used.

Send them out for cleaning and flow testing. The Denso 660s are well known for large differences from the rated output. Since those have been through the wringer they should be checked before using them.

thanks...if they come back bad...is there a way to get them redone? or fixed

If they come back bad, is there a way to get them redone or fixed?

Define bad.

If they don't all flow within 10% of each other after cleaning then they will run poorly. In that case you shouldn't use them. There isn't anything you can do to change them just get more and try to make two matched sets.

If they are within 10% you'll just need to tune for their actual flow rate. There are many reports of Denso 660cc injectors actually flowing 720cc or more.

well u see how the bottoms of them are fairly brown...whats that? also the one 3rd from the left looks like its chipped a little(didnt see it as the picture was smaller) can that be replaced? will it affect anything? is there a write up on "how injectors work" like they have for the turbo system on some sites?

The one on the left needs a new O-ring. You should just replace them all at the same time.

The 2nd injector from the right looks like the tip is cracked off or smashed.

Check the resistance across the coils and see if they are all the same just to make sure they will even function.

If you send them out like Steve mentioned I'm sure they'll fix all that for you!
