So I will have to wait to wake up the beast till i can save some extra $$. And besides, the GSX isnt really reliable. And dont ever get an ACT2600, it sucks ass for daily driving...

Finally starting to see/hear from the locals around here. I haven't been on the boards for a while but I'm glad to see this topic. Anyways I live in Newark and to be honest I never really see any fellow DSMers around here. I'm definitely down with a car meet. I think Lums is a better choice than Hooters. I take my gixxer to Hooters on Wednesday nites and its fun but just dont see having a car meet there with more than 5 cars. Not the biggest parking lot. Just let me know when/where cause I work a crazy shift and might have to work. As for a shop in this area, good luck cause I know the rents have got to be going up with the rest of the realestate. I tell yea Rhino liners on Old Baltimore Pike got a nice set-up with the right direction. I'll have start keeping my eyes out for everyone. I was also at Cecil on opening nite but I was on my bike. Did I talk to any of you guys? I was the guy walking around all nite in my bike jacket with helmet in hand. I was also the guy who did the burn out slash take off down the right side return lane at the end of the nite. I was heading down there to help my friend, who had the white 03 cobra that broke his rear down there, put his car up on his trailer that he had gone home to get.

I think i remember racing you on rt.7 last summer. I only had a few mods, i was in the talon w/ my boy and we talked to you at one of the lights b4 the race and you said you had an LSD, which is in your profile so im thinking it was you. Car is loud as shit right? haha, anyway, when are you headed down to cecil w/ the car?

He'd blow me out, hes got an lsd, front mount, and 20g. Believe me, i heard and saw his car (if it is infact the guy im thinking of) and its badass. I havent lost to many, but ill def take a loss to another DSM.

yo chris that guy from the shop on kirkwood highway just got his car fixed....brand new engine from japan 3000 dollars n hes at 300 miles on it said hes just breaking it in for now...same exhaust new injen intake same big 16 g turbo hks bov no uicp's ...i think hes still got the side mount ic...only thing i didnt understand is...hes got hks bov and no dump tube on his intake....its just straight down...he said on his af guage when his car was workin correctly before he was running lean..with the same set up he has now.... from what ive been told when u get aftermarket bov n u vent to atomosphere...u run rich...and chance stalling between shifts...he said he has no problems like that...and he doenst have the gm mas with the mast...can anyone explain why he can run n vent to atmosphere with the hks ssqv and not hav problems?

Only some cars have that problem, its weird. Most cars do run rich and bog with a vented BOV, but some run fine! BTW which shop is it, I know of 2, finishline racing (I think thats what its called) and atlantic speed shop (buy my royal purple from there not too expensive ). But all spring break im gonna be down in florida...so I gotta pass on this meet, but I don't even have my DSM yet so no big deal! Later

yea Chris that was me. I had my S16g then. That was when I flew up to the next light so fast that I thought I was going to run it. Then you guys pulled up and said the same thing to me about running the light. haha. the brakes did their job that day as they have many times since then. I remember looking back and when I looked up all I saw was a red light and said "Oh shit!". Got the S20g on now and just need to dyno tune it and then I'll hit the track. I tell ya tho, even with the lsd I spin at will in 1st and 2nd @17psi and at 21psi i sometimes spin in 3rd. I think my tires are to blame for that tho. Pirellis are not that sticky to begin with. Cool to hear from ya guys. Just let me know whenever any of you guys wanna hang. Later
