Decking my 7bolt block (micro finish)

The shop that decked my block did not mico finish it. it leaks pretty bad.

im thinking about tackling it myself. so im looking for experienced people that can point me in the right direction.

the engine is out and ready to go. i just need to pull the pistons, rods, and crank.

Take it back to the machine shop that way you know your block will have an even finish so the head can seal good. I wouldn't tackle it yourself unless you have a mill!
