ok i have a dead o2 sensor, and i cant replace it..basicly i striped the threads in the exhaust manifold that holds the o2 sensor after replaceing it with one i thought would work, so basicly i gotta replace my whole exhaust manifold just to get a new o2 sensor. ok with that being said, how can i trick my computer into detecting a rich condition? im loseing quite a bit of performance with the fuel trim being so rich, is there anyway i could put a resistor or something on the blue and white wires on the o2 harness? i know this is far fetched just work with me here allright. thanks in advanced...

You're going to need a new O2 sensor. You can just try and get a junkyard manifold or for ~$10 you can get a SS O2 Sensor bung and have someone drill out the old hole and weld in the new part. Or, you can have somone weld the hole and re-tap it. I'd really just check with a local junkyard if I were you...

yeah actually i did just that, i got another exuast manifold and intake as well...also another o2 sensor...
