Ok, So the whole thing is finally in, I'm just questioning my water line setup. This is how I was running things on my Big16G, and never had any known problems with it.

Please excuse my Newb paint drawing, but its simple, and it works to explain everything...I think.

If this is going to work or not, please let me know. Any and all suggestions are welcome. The car is a 93 6 Bolt, but it has the 2G oil filter housing (I think). It runs the water through a jacket rather then an external cooler. Anyway, hopefully you guys get the idea and can help me out. Thanks in advance

Your missing a line bud. There is a hard line with a rubber hose on each end that goes grom one of the oil cooler(water jacket) outputs to the t-stat housing. you should have a line from the witer pipe going to the turbo. Then a line from the t-stat going to the other side of turbo. Then that afor mentioned hardline for the water jaclek and also another line from the water pipe to the housing.

Hmm, dont hold me to this, but I'm unsure of the second location on the water pipe. I'll have a closer look tomorrow, But i really dont recall it being there

The Tstat should have to nipples on it. One for the turbo the other for the oil cooler. Then the water pipe should have a big fitting (almost 3/8npt but not quite) for the turbo and then on the little pipe from the water pipe should go to the oil cooler.

Well, upon further inspection, I only have 1 nipple on the T-stat housing, as well as the 1 fitting on the water pipe, closer to the T-stat housing. I guess I'm in need of new parts?

sounds like you got a 90 style t-stat housing and a 90 turbo water pipe, seeing as I just recently did the 91-90 switch on mine

So it is agreed that I need to get my hands on a 91 or newer T-stat Housing and water pipe? And once I do this, the lines should run as follows....

T-stat housing -> Front of Turbo, Back of Turbo -> Water Pipe?

and

T-stat housing -> Oil cooler, Oil cooler -> Waterpipe?

I'm already on the hunt for pipe and t-stat housing, so hopefully this is right and it will all work out. Thanks guys
