datalogging software

i have searched and searched and cannot find a logging program that i can just simply use on my laptop. i dont want to buy a palm because i wont have a purpose for one besides just logging. is there any programs out there that i can use on my laptop without buying a palm????

Technomotive and Tunerstien are both laptop software and I also thought you could use mmcd with laptop but maybe I'm wrong on that one.

come on man you can get a palm m100 for less than $10. Who cares if you have no other use for it. While you are not using it it can be a $10 paperweight.
