datalogger using tunerstein:fatal exception

Ok, when I go to use my logger I can choose my programs and all the options of what I want to log but when I hit f1 to start the log the thing says "fatal alert:fatal exception." What is the deal, i cant even play back saved log files. I've read through some of the older threads on this problem and didnt really get an answer for my problem. someone please help me so i can see what my dsm is saying to me.

im using the palm m100 with the tunerstein software that i bought off of ebay. it came with all the cables and stuff and a disk from obd loggers. hope this info. helps.

I bought a logger form them also. Then a week after I started using it the thing started reading "no rev, and connection failed". I called them and they told me to send it back and they would fix it and send it back to me. I just found it cheaper to buy a new palm because I'm sure that's the problem. It should be here in a couple of days and I'll post to tell you if it worked.
