Ok. I was looking for a way to mount my datalogger in my 2G and couldn't find anything that i liked. I looked at the tech section and saw how to mount one in a 1G by
MindBlowin03. I'm surprised I didn't see anyone suggest the same way on a 2G. I did it to mine and works and looks just as good as the one in MindBlowin03's tech. So if anyone was wondering how to mount theres in a 2G just follow the 1G tech. If everyone already knew that well then......now the noobies will know. :p

i used kinda the same materials but took a different approach. the place where he mounted his is where i plan on mounting my LM-1 wbo2. here are some pictures of my palm mounting. i used the rolled steel, attached it to the screw on the dash next to the gauge cluster and ran it around to my center bezel. then i ran the palm wire through the drivers side panel next to the center console. really simple and hides all wires. plus i made it easier for myself if i have to log by myself by attaching velcro to it and having the ability to attach it directly to the steering wheel. sorry for the long post!

Palm m100s have a skinny plastic protective covering they sell that will slide right in the gap under the vents. You can probably find what I mean by searching.

Yeah I have the palm M100 and I saw that. I already have my AFC in there and I didn't like how it covered all my A/C controls anyway. I did mine just like in the tech section for the 1G. It works perfect for the 2G as well. :thumb:

I only kept my palm in my car when I was tuning though. I didn't need it in there everyday. Not really much use in permanently mounting it in there.

looks like a cell phone bracket...
normally used to mount a cell phone cradle in car with no visible drilling

I followed MindBlowin03's tech post for mounting in a 1G. It works the same for a 2G. There is a screw behind the stereo bezel.
