data logger software

i have finally gotten all me fuel lines ran and 660 injectors in. i have a palm IIIc and im ready to start logging data. my problem is disc i have with MMCD on it is no good. im looking for software for my palm. i know its supposed to be free software but i cant seem to find it. can anyone tell me where to go for software or maybe even send it to me. not real sure how it works just know i need it. any help would be great.

sorry. i need software to put on palm for loggin. it been about 6yr since ive done this. when i bought last palm it came w software on it. i have plug for car to palm and palm just no software. last palm when i hooked it up showed info on car. but that palm as nuked so i bought another. just need that software. i think it was called MMCD or am i confused?


i do believe that is what i wanted. i have installed it on palm and will give it a go tonite. thanks

thanks any info will come in handy. ive never really done this at all. my goal is to get car running and driving reliably with all these mods and 660 injectors. if i can do that im gonna get dsmlink. thanks again

i download this and tried to put on my palm but none of these files will installs to it. acts like there not even there when i open them in palm desktop. anyone have any ideas on what im doing wrong

Thank you for the info also. I was able to download this to my computer but i am having trouble getting my palm to sync to the computer. Any advice.

i was able to download as well and my palm is linked. i just cant put this download on my palm.

to link palm u need palm desktop software. mine came with it but you can prob go to palm site and get it.

once u have software installed just go to install button and and files u want on palm.
then connect palm, turn it on and hit hotsync. when u do this it will put whatever files u have put on the install.

Yep thats all you have to do get your palm software cd and hotsync it up and your good to go.

Did you check in All Programs or whatever it is in a palm, I forget. What method are you using to install the software on the palm? Does your palm have a SD slot? If so, copy the file onto the SD and browse to the SD card on the palm device.

yea its a palmIIIc. its on the list. im trying to hotync it. i doesnt have an sd slot. when i go it the install on palm destop and pick mmcd folder it doesnt show me any files to put on palm.
whats wrong with ecmlink? though it was thing to get.

Did you extract the the mmcd files from the .zip folder? The file you need to use to get mmcd installed on the palm will end with a .prc extension.

I don't think anything is wrong with EcmLink, it works great. I was more just messing with kawgomoo because of a thread I was reading earlier. If you have a 1g though you should look into Jackal at the same time.

ok. still cant get mmcd to work. i did unzip folder but still nothing there for me to put on palm. anyone have anymore ideas

Does your device need the OS updated? Some devices need their OS updated to run MMCd.
Or are you using the Quick Install application? The file you should be attempting to install is the mmcd.prc file and you should be able to "drop and drag" it to the "Device" Window in the Quick Install Application if it does not have an SD Memory location. Also verify that you have your Hotsync settings correct. Serial, USB, etc.

os updated maybe, dont really know that much about my palm. how would i check this. i cant even find mmcd.prc file in any of the folders that i downloaded. its from the link above. thats what im thinking is problem. i am hotsyncing my palm for installs(no sd card slot). i put the Palm'n'Stein logger software on it but we dont get along well. ok i hate that software, confuses me more than helps. and im very new to tunning like this is first go at it. ive just been reading the hell out forum trying to learn.
