Data logger software question?

Yes i down loaded tmo free software and i have a data logger cable . What other cable do i need to go from 9 pin serial to the lap top thanks for your help.

Does your laptop have a DB9 port? Or just USB?

The DB9 looks like this:

It only has a usb !

You're in luck! There exists an adapter cable. There's a lot more on eBay, this is just an example:

Ok i actually have one of those! I have tmo software installed what do i have to do to make it work? It just says bad connection to ecu?
