turboed cars basically go to shit in the heat of summer! (not really, but you know what i mean)! like my car just doesnt pull like it should anymore.. Racewars is coming up and i need it to be as fast as it can be.. what could i do to cool it down more besides buying an intercooler sprayer? like a little tank of CO2 and spray the intercooler down before the race? any tips or suggestions?

It should not be a whole lot slower if it sits and then you run it from it being cool. I know when you drive around for awhile the intake and water temps get up there and the ecu will pull your timing making it feel alot slower. I ran this last weekend and just did not start it till got to the line. It seemed to work good. Try meth injection it works great for me. Also you could do a CAI I have heard that works wonders for intake temps.

Pre-turbo meth injection and or E85, both have given me a lot of power "back" that is lost from teh heat of the summer. Running on pump gas my car feels like crap it's so slow. Adding in preturbo meth )m5 nozzle) helped a good bit, but when i got the pump gas tune done and went back to E85 i got a TON back everywhere, from right off idle to WOT it's a whole different world in the summer compared to pump gas...just another reason to convert IMO..run pump gas in the winter when alky is hard to start :p

Make sure you have all your heatshield, and run a cold air intake.

Other than that, thats just one of the cons of a boosted application.
I dont even think of boosting when Im driving in the heat of the day.

Simple water injection at the TB elbow. My intake manifold is cold to the touch after a 27-30psi run. No intercooler or sprayer can give you that. Read up on Turboglenn's threads in the nitrous/alcohol/water injection forum.

You can study methanol injection, water injection, mix. And other alcohols with water or pure. I've run pure isopropynol with equal success as methanol as injection and it's cheaper. Methanol as a fuel is an option. E-85 shines in the heat of summer too.

It sprays into your air in either the intercooler pipes or intake manifold depending where you position the nozzle. It then evaporates from the heat in the air thus reducing the temperatures. Think of sweat on your body. We sweat so water can evaporate from our skin taking the heat with it and helps us keep cool. The same concept is applied in water/meth/alky injection. Water needs energy to evaporate. Basically it'll turn into vapor, keeps the air cool, and steam cleans your engine all at once. Also meth and alky has high octane ratings. Think of it like running on race gas. Certain systems has it activated once you hit boost.

you can get a good basic kit from DevilsOwn.com for about 225 or so and it's all you need to run almost race gas boost and timing on pump gas, plus teh evaporating water/methanol cools the intake charge drasitcally. Call chase at devilsown, he's a good guy and will answer any questions you have if you don't find it by searching on here (which you should be able to )

Wow, 225 is pretty cheap, I was going to get the DevilsOwn kit myself a while ago since I am not blessed with E85 out here, but I decieded to put it on hold as I had other fortifing projects to do to the car first and since its a DD didnt think it would be a good idea till I found a cheap second vehicle which im in process to do... Good stuff though.
