a few weeks ago my idler pulley started squeaking really bad. i figured that the bearing was shot and so i replaced the entire pulley. now it doesnt sound like a shot bearing anymore but its still squeaking and its pissing me off
whenever i squirt some oil on it, it quits for a while but in about 30 seconds the squeak comes back. I know theres some friction going on in it somewhere but i cant figure out how to stop it. i had an idea to figure out exactly what was causing the friction and put a felt washer there but i dunno
anyone got any better ideas?
