i bought a tsi and the timing jumped, it is a 1995 with a 6 bolt motor, i am not sure what head i need to get for this, i was wondering if there is a differeance between the 6 and 7 bolt heads, and if i should be looking for a 1g or 2 g head, any advice would help thanks

did it have the 6 bolt swap?95 didnt come with a 6 bolt if you didnt know.but if its a 6 bolt, get a 6 bolt head,if 7,get 7.you can use a 6 bolt head on a 7 bolt for more top end,but youll have to make the holes for the headbolts 1-2mm bigger.

Lets save the guy some trouble.... just get a matching head. You'll find it's alot less hassle.
