I just got some comp 101200 cams installed and when i got on it today at 4000rpm and 10psi it started to stutter and a CEL came on. So i went to auto zone and it said misfire in cylinder 3. I cant remember the order so i checked the two middle plugs and one had fresh oil on top of it and the other was fine. So i cleaned the oil and tried again and the same thing happened. I have basic mods full 3in ex, intake, mbc, cams, Type S bov, and fuel and turbo are stock. I was thinking it might be fuel cut due to the cams letting in more air but its only at 10psi on the little T25. So any help would be great. Thanks:dsm:

So you didnt have this problem with stock cams?

How much oil was actually in the spark plug well? When is the last time you changed your plugs/wires? Aside from checking all plug/coil and injector wire connections I would start with a new set of BPR7ES plugs gapped to .028

I have had a set of bpr6es plugs for about 3000 miles, and the wires are stock. And actually it did something like this before and it was because my stock bov was broken i wouldn't close all the way. And it looked like the guy who put the cams in spilled some oil near the wire that had oil on the plug. Also it has a brand new valve cover gasket and spark gaskets. I was wondering if the gap was at 30-32 would that cause it not to fire will all that are getting forced in.

Nothing to tune with yet, but i fixed the problem by changing the gap on the plug to 28 for some reason it was at 33, i also disconnected and reconnected the injector plug. Not sure which of the 2 things i did fixed it but theres no more misfire or hesitation.
