simple question..... will a cyclone intake fit on a non turbo talon with the 2.0 DOHC motor in it????

also i wanted to know how come a turbo fuel rail is not the same as a non turbo fuel rail. is it bigger or something? will a turbo fuel rail bolt onto a non tubo.

turbo fuel rail fits as the heads are the same, the difference is the fuel pressure regulator. then injectors are also bigger on the turbo cars

the turbo fpr uses a different lower pressure then we do. so itl run liek shat on our cars

the cyclone intake mani isnt that great. if you can keep both runners open then its good. yes it fits, there on ebay all the time.

^^^^agrees with above abotu search option

your name doesnt tell us anything. it says 91talontsi, yet your model says NT. so that didnt tell us anything. so please, fill out your profile to help everyone. and a bigger fuel rail wont give you any performance gains.

cyclone intakes suck imho, the runners are to much of a pain :thumbdown

according to the other thread on this... the cyclone was only made to spool the turbo faster, that is if what people say in the other thread are correct... therefor putting this manifold on a non turbo will not do really anything other than look pretty.

so you guys think i should just get a new high power intake mani or just get this one ported?? i have been reading up on the intake and i realized the same thing. people have been saying that it is not that great. see this car is my daily driver and i wanted to keep it that. i have another toy to work on, but when that is done i want to hook up the talon. so for right now it is has some supention work and minor engine things. like intake exhaust and other small things. so i wanted to maybe turbo the car in a little bit. but people have been saying get rid of car and then get a turbo car if i wanted to do that. so i was just thinking about doing rods pistons vavles cams valve springs and port and polish it. then i think i could just put nitrous in it. it would be alot eaiser with probably the same result. so intake wise what do you think i should do.

P.S. i will try to put my info in

I think you should drop in a 3000gt motor, with two t3/t4 hybrids, a huge FMIC, and one on the roof as well. Then put 4 bottles of nitrous in the trunk, and run like, 36 fogger nozzles. Buy every twinkly shiny computer thingy you can find and wire them all up and start turning the dials.

FYI, stock motors handle nitrous fine, you don't need fully built internals, do your research.

If you want turbo power buy a turbo. If you have 5 grand burning a hole in your pocket, then do all the crazy internal mods, but tell me, what are rods, pistons, springs, and valves going to do to INCREASE power? You don't need all that sh1t to run nitrous.

you can run abotu a 55 to 75 shot on stock internals without problems. but you have to watch becausr the non-turbo pistons dont have as much stregnth in the ring lands on the pistons liek the turbo internals do. this is why we cant boost as much wiht a turbo kit as well

and even if why would you run full forged internals, i see no need for em unless your plannin on cracking 500+hp which on a n/t you wont. leave the stock rods and get pistons only for the purpose of uppign the compression

if he wants to run a big ass shot then he will need to rebuild his internals. like 150 or something of that nature. i plan to rebuild before i bump up the shot to i nice level like that.

yea but anythign over a 100 shot you will need to do that, he can run a 75 on stock internals. he shouldnt run into any problems but the second he goes higher he will have to watch.

i said screw nos and n/a setup and im building a big rod motor for way cheaper then my n/a setup. i got a crazy adiction for hp

hmmmmm, i'm seriously thinking about trying that
