Alright... i pulled my axles when i dropped the trans in my 93 GSX.... my issue is that i misread the guide book and pulled the boot off the cup on the passenger axle. is it possible for me to get it back on the cup if so HOW? and with the transmission and engine in the car... how can i get something to pop the passenger cv cup out? i cannot get in there from above or below... just from the fire wall side it seems.

I appreciate anyhelp ty

Have you removed the gusset that's below the axle on the passenger side? It's a black metal piece held in by 5 bolts. Once you remove that, you should have room under the axle. Next take a pry bar and place it between the axle cup and the transmission and pop the axle out. It's held in by an internal spring clip, so it'll take a little bit of force to pop it out.

I will have to try and remove that gusset. I did get an idea on being able to use the original boot. i figure take a cutoff wheel and grind down on the metal ring and seperate it... then open it to fit the inner CV and then install it and reset the metal ring.

alright.... got the inner cv out and back in... fixed... temp fix for now LOL im broke atm and parts houses closed... 1 good zip tie later the boot is on nice and firm. and it clears the tranny as well
