CV Joint ordeal

I have a '97 GST w/o ABS and my cv joint on the my passenger(right) side is shot. I searched around for the new part and it is only like eighty bucks, but the problem is that people can only get the part by the middle of next week or they want to RNR(replace n reinstall) which I don't have time for. My car is my daily driver, I have nothing else, and I want to to go the track this Sunday. My buddie's boss can get the CV Joint w/ABS overnightted so it could be here on Saturday and get it put in that day. Anyone know if a ABS CV Joint will fit on a Non-ABS car???

I found out that the ABS axles have a extra little sproket on them. But I don't know if it will interfere with a non-ABS spindal. If we get the axle ordered befor 5:00, we should have it ready for the track this weekend. Hopefully we can find someone on Tuners that has tried it.

Option B: I've heard of some guys rebuilding their own CV joints with a kit from Raxles.com. Have any you guys found any parts stores that carry the actual CV joints, not just entire re-man axles?

another option would be to replace the whole axle...most of the time its cheaper and less work...my local o'reilly had it in stock and thats good considering i live in hickville, might check into that

Just in case this question ever arises Frontwheeler got the answer to the question from the in town DSM shop. It turns out that ABS axles will work on an non-ABS car, just in case this needs to be answered in the future.

It ended up that the track isn't open on Sunday so I am waiting for the non-ABS axle to come in on Wednesday anyhow.
