Hey guys, I'm replacing all my old, hard and craking CV axles with new boots. I am ONLY doing the boots and already have the correct OEM boot kits for both inner and outer on both sides. I have dont the inside with no problem whatsoever, but the outer is harder. I cannot get the assembly apart. There is a bearing cage filled with grease and all and I cannot see if there is a clip or what up in thereWTF . Has anyone ever encountered this sort of thing, or can anyone help me out here?
thanks guys,

Ah, yes.....and the car is a 1997 GST w/ ABS.

Thanks man:thumb: ......that helps a lot actually! I figured you had to hit it, but didn't want to break something, but now I know it is ok to smack it. I'll get right on that tomorrow.
thanx guys,
