I'm doing the auto to manual swap which means I need to cut through my firewall in order to install the clutch master cylinder and also feed the shift cables through. The actual spots on the firewall where these pieces go are clearly visible, just not cut through. What yould you use to get through it and how thick is it? I was thinking just a drill/dremel and possibly an air cut off tool could get the job done.

air tools plus a dremel tool will work wonders.LOL just make sure there not the panels like nissan has.. what i mean is they are bolted in place and come right off easily. but idk ive never looked at the firewall of a dsm.

wow that you be awesomely convenient, I haven't really looked except to see where the holes would go, I'll have to look into that.
