Haven't got the fuel trim fixed and here comes another problem. I'd never noticed the ticking sound until last night. Here's story, everytime i leave my foot off the gas paddle i hear the ticking, it goes faster and faster then slows down until i step on the gas again. I left the car idled and the noise comes back on. I asked couple friends, they said it could be the injectors, and the larger injectors DSM got in motor the louder noise it makes. I am not sure about this, so ask if anyone has the same ticking noise in your car.

I have a 97 GS-T and the sound seems like the common lifters clicking. I'm not a pro with fuel tunning but if you are running lean.... could it be knock? You said you havent gotten the fuel trim down... so it could be either or. Update us on a little more info

Does it happen just at idle
Are you boosting? At what PSI
At what RPM'S
have you installed anything lately before the issue occured

Let us know

Car is boosting at 14psi, the ticking noise has been there when i got the car. As long as the RPM, it exists at every level. And, i havent figured out what the fuel trim is. I really want to take it to a DSM specialized shop to take care of the car, but unfornately couldnt find one in local, (Easton or Reading) Pa.

mine has started to do the same thing, Is it the weather???Iv heard my lifters tick, But its not the same, its a quick ticking, Light ticking. when i start to go and shit. I can hear it when im cruzing also.

The evap and EGR solenoids are mounted on the firewall next to the clutch slave.

Don't you mean mounted on the firewall next to the clutch master and the brake reservoir? The clutch slave is at the bottom of the car.
