custom fuel tank question

im curious about relocating the gas tank to my trunk mabe even make it smaller my question is has anyone made a custom fuel tank or relocated the stock one to the trunk? i have a 91tsi

You searched for "fuel cell" and didn't come up with anything...?

As far as having a fuel cell that is in the cabin (at least in reference to the original structure of the car) is fine, but you'll need to have another layer of metal (firewall) by most organization's rules. Also, if you are going to put in a different tank (since I don't know how/why you'd fit the stock one in the trunk) keep in mind that it's better to have that liquid sloshing around between the front and rear. All that liquid sloshing to one side will have more leverage/effect on your car at the ends when cornering.

Search for fuel cell in the gallery or look at the pictures I have posted. I have a Post NEW FUEL SETUP that has a picture of a Fuel cell in the back of one of our cars.

If you have question on it just ask me I have one. Its a pain in the ass to put in and the inside of your car will smell.
