custom fog light brackets?

So the 96 gsx i bought a couple months ago was mid coverted to 2gb. im trying to mount the fog lights but it looks like im missing brackets for the core support to bolt onto the bracket on the fogs. I was also wondering if 2ga and 2gb core supports are also different?

Any help would be appreciated

Ya! that plate you got there on that fog is what im missing so they are the same on 2ga?

No.
They are different.

2Ga uses a long Bracket, which the 2Gb uses a kind of rounded bracket.
The 2ga fog light is like 6 or 7" Long, which the 2gb fog light is like 3" Circular (round).

No.

You need the core support for the 2gb.

If you use the 2ga core to instal a 2gb light, It will not work.

Man im confused ive had people tell me i would need to make a custom bracket to fit on a 2ga core support. Does anybody have pictures maybe of 2ga core vs. 2gb?

You don't need a custom bracket to mount the 2gb.
Just get the 2gb fog light with the bracket (2gb) and they will bolt on to the 2ga.

If you get the 2gb fog light (just the light with out the bracket), Then it will not bolt ON.

Just get all the assembly like (agarc023) post it.

oh thats what i was trying to say the whole time. i missing that mounting plate so it will all mount to the core support

I don't think it would be too hard to make new ones if you had a couple of thin sheets of metal and a welder. Otherwise I would pm stangmurdera on here. He could probably find you some brackets

Sorry bro, It's not the same. I myself am looking for new 2gb brackets for my 97 GS, simply because my fogs and brackets are missing for some reason... anyway, I'm sure you can fabricate the 2ga brackets to fit the 2gb fogs somehow because the bolt pattern for the frame are the same, the only hard part woud be finding a way to make the hangers for the 2gb fogs that the 2gb fog bracket has to hold the light on the bracket. The 2ga fog brackets are elongated horizontally to hold the shape of the 2ga fogs, and the 2gb fog brackets are shorter with hangers to fit the shape of the 2gb fogs, however they share the same bolt pattern for the frame.
