I'm building a 2.2 destroker with a G4CS, Eagle 94mm crank, and 159mm rods and Mahle pistons.

My question is what is the best way to go about getting 159mm rods made?
I've emailed Eagle and they said they dont do custom rods. I also emailed Pauter and Manley twice and the other commonly known companies and still no response. I'm unable to call any of them because of my current location. I saw the Cosworth kit and that price is totally out of the question.

A lot of companies will only deal with you if you're a dealer for their product and even then it can be tough. They simply don't want to tool up and slow production to make one set of rods. I recently called Oliver about some custom rods (in a length that they USED to stock) and they said they had no interest in making them.

So it'll be easier to go through a dealer for a custom setup?

That's going to be a really short piston skirt. Iv mostly only heard of the 156mm rod being used with the 2.4 block. Greg at GSC and Aaron at English Racing are the ones to talk to if your using the 94mm for the 2.2 destroke. Good luck I can't wait for next season to run my 2.2 stroker.
