I've done a lot of searching for the copper crush washer size for the coolant and oil lines on a 16g. I believe they are the same as the 14b. 4x 14mm washers for the coolant lines and 2x 12mm for the oil line. Is the correct?

I erased that Pm :(..I have or well had all the crush washer sizes for all the turbo lines.

I guess I'll wait till my package gets here to write that stuff down.Or write a small article about it.

Thanks but I got them now. Just to sum up what I learned so far for anyone reading this, it's:

4- 14mm crush washers for the 2 coolant lines to the turbo

2- 12mm crush washers for the oil feed to the turbo

2- 10mm crush washers for the oil feed to the head

Correct. That's what my sheet says from STM.

Although.I happened to find about 6 12's or 10's in a box in my closet.

I've been looking around for random assortments and so far found things I know damn well I need to buy at some point LOL i.e. I found good assortments of hose clamps, vacuum caps/fittings, etc. Do you have any suggestions for me? thanks a ton, you have no idea how much time/money/frustration you are going to save me! LOL

Haha well as you see I live in Montana and it's a PITA to keep driving 15 miles in a truck that laughs at me at the gas station. Mostly why I got into DSM's...great fuel milage plus power on tap to run with the big boys

I just picked up a fuse assortment but plan on somehow testing them not sure if I should use generic looking fuses..

Good idea on the vacuum nipples I need some of them :thumb:

There is heat shrink assortments but I made my own set picking out certain diameters

Speaking of fuses, my car has a short in it right now. I removed every fuse and there is still a short but if I remove the bolt that holds an electrical connection to the fuse box (kinda hard to explain but its the only one going horizontal with the head on the intake side of the car and the threads facing the alternator side of the car) the short goes away. No idea whats up

We have an Electrical forum, you know. :|

I got a few crush washers from the local mechanic. They are not metric, but they still do the job. Most of the time, they are a little wider than the washers you take off.But I don't see that being an issue.

And 9$ for a whole crush washer set.Why Did I not see that some weeks ago:(
