Cruise control not working after rebuild

After my rebuild, I can not get my cruise control working for nothing.

When I did my rebuild I also took everything out the engine bay to paint. Than I also had the dash pulled to replace the heater core.

Well got my motor broke in and now just going back to my normal driving and went to use my cruise control. I go to turn it and and the light on the switch won't stay on. When it does stay on I go to set it and the cruise light on the cluster comes on but the cruise control isn't working.

I have checked all the connections and the vacuum lines all there and hooked up.

Same thing happened to me when I did my swap make sure the throttle cables are in right in the box. Also check your fuses and grounds. Unplug the connectors and make sure no loose wires or pins in the connectors and put a little dielectric grease in there before reconnecting. When rebuilt my motor and put it back in the second time it all started working again miraculously. So I'd make sure all you connectors are good.

? huh? Does that mean you found your problem and fixed it?

No the problem isn't fixed yet but I'm having problems with my speedometer so I think I need to get that figured out before I do the cruise control, right?

I'm not getting any speed readings to the computer and doesn't the cruise control need to know my speed.

Check the wiring and fuses is where I would start. something probably came unpluged when you removed the dash.

Well check every connection and vacuum line. Still nothing.
