OEM half shafts will be perfect for this set up. I didn't see much about them, so I thought I'd throw it in.

. the schools further away from the farms and pastures seem to be fine. Watertown is kinda hickville.. so the intelligence level is being shown right there.
no offense to any farmers out there.thekyguy11 said:ok, we are simply going to disregaurd the comments from the other, far inferior, wisconsin based user. Much can be said, not worth my time.
We get the machine work done at Extreme Speed, around 3rd and Drexel in Oak Creek
And yes, obviously this will be no monster, compared to Shep. After all we are not heavily sponsored, nor do we have engineering degrees, nor are we on a mission to surpass the fastest AWD dsm in the world. Our intentions are not to max out this engine. Besides, there are PLENTY of other dsms on this site with wayyyy more done to them, why are we all the sudden in question of being on the same level as a professional drag racer?
(shouldnt let the "less-knowlegable" get to me)
,but c'mon thats why he is here right? isn't that why we are all here? I know I am. sure, there are ALOT of you here that know your way around a 4g63 but I bet you still ask questions. I can almost put money down that that there is not one of you out there that would like to build YOUR interpretation of a "monster". maybe he just got excited when he originaly named this thread. how are they going to do it the right way if the select few choose to bash him?99redgst said:When you name the thread "Creating a Monster" people are going to expect big things. This should have been named "Building a Mild Street Car" or something. Most people that look at this thread were probably expecting to see someone throwing down 600+ HP, not somebody building an "Average" DSM.
thekyguy11 said:Mild street setup? I am pretty positive this setup will be capable of 600 easily; however, we may never push it that far. People have been able to achieve that goal on stock internals, but that is beyond the point.
Nuggets was a little excited when he created the thread about 3 months ago, so I guess the use of the word "monster" isn't the greatest choice but, jesus christ, why are we wasting time discussing the title of the thread. Why am I wasting time even responding to foolish comments like that?
Thank you SpadeGSX for understanding our true intentions.
Any other off-topic criticisms on this thread please PM me.
Thank You

thekyguy11 said:Once again any off-topic criticisms not relating to our actual project we are doing please PM me with your questions/problems/complaints.
so I personally cant take anymore pictures but I will do my best to photograph the progress.
I'm going the 2.4L route w/ a 60-1 Turbonetics. Picking up the DOHC 2.4 this weekend and 60-1 any day now so hopefuly I'll have my own project thread soon. Again, good luck and looks good!!
nuggets said:yes we have been looking into DSMlink alot over the past 2 weeks. but it is a bit costly. we're still looking into our options. we defenitly want to go with something concrete that can be used as a solid tuning program. We'd like to have it gets done right the first time around and not be running into any MAJOR errors.
also gaining access to those forums would be very tight
anyways, enjoy the pics. i shall update, or kyguy will, as soon as we make another move ^_^
peace
