i've got a 95 TSi and i read a post in one of the forums but didn't really help with my question. the previous owner of my car changed the crankshaft angle sensors to that of the first gens. will this improve my chances of not have problems with the crankshaft? will it be ok if i turn the boost up a little to 15psi or will that surely give me problems?

thanx

First of all, 1gs don't have crank angle sensors, they get the signal from the cam angle sensors.

Second of all, the cause of crankwalk has nothing to do whatsoever with the sensor.

If your car is in good running condition, you should be fine to turn up the boost to 15psi...just keep an eye on things.
