Good Morning,
Okay, so I have the dreaded "Lifter-Tick" that's so talked about. Recently my car was in the body shop for appox. 6 weeks (Took a while to get the parts over here to Italy
) After I got it back the tick was gone for the first week or so and now it's back with a vengeance.
So my question('s), is it for sure a "Crank-Walk" issue since it was gone for a week and now since I am back to everyday driving it's out of whack again??. That was a nice week of tick-free start-up and idling, why did it stop for a week?? Did the six week siesta have something to do with it?. Or does this mean it's a lifter/valve issue because so to say, Once your crank takes a walk it ain't coming back ??? Or possibly the small oil-passage issue ???, but why would it just stop for a week???
